Biography
Ernest G. Tannis practiced law on the bar from 1976 until December 31st, 2002 for 47.5 years. Since December 31st, 2002, he has continued on as a Mediation Consultant. He is also an author of several books, and he provides courses like the ones on this site both here and to the general public. He has attended several speaking events. His experience includes helping to mediate in order to stop a war between the Canadian government and certain First Nations tribes. He has been extremely influential in the areas of Aternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), and was a founding member of the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution (CICR).
